Winter can really do a number
on your vehicle. So, we are back with some more spring cleaning tips for your
vehicle. Follow these last 6 steps on the spring cleaning checklist to get your
vehicle ready to conquer the roads of spring.
Check Oil
Check your oil to make sure
it is full and make sure to change your oil and oil filter if your oil if
needed.
Fluid Levels
Check fluid levels for all
your fluids, including: antifreeze/coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid,
and windshield washer fluid. Make sure all fluid is at proper levels.
Engine Air Filter
Check your air filter and
replace it if it is clogged/dirty.
Windshield Wipers
Inspect your windshield
wipers for cracks and general wear and tear. Replace your wipers if worn down
or if they are struggling to clear your windshield when it rains.
Clean the Interior
Make sure to clean any winter
mess that made its way inside of your vehicle. This is also a good time to
declutter your vehicle to lighten its load and increase your vehicles MPG.
Clean the Exterior
Give your vehicle a good
wash, especially underneath your vehicle where road salt and other dirt can
accumulate and start to corrode the underside of your vehicle.
